Dark & Light Coffee is looking for a manager.
We are an independent specialty coffee shop, providing coffee, plants & snacks to locals. We focus on quality products with excellent customer service. We have great local customers, and we pride ourselves on offering them an excellent experience. We always want them to walk out happier than when they walked in.
We have an excellent team which we are looking to strengthen as we have grown immensely over the past year. We are looking for an organised and driven individual to take the shop and team to another level. This role is full time but has flexible working hours.
We are looking for a candidate who:
• Is a speciality coffee enthusiast, has a minimum of 3 years’ experience making coffee to a high standard.
• Has spent at least 1 year in a management level position.
• Has strong leadership and team management skills.
• Can always be friendly and personable to customers whilst working in a team.
• Is self-motivated, proactive, organised, tidy and punctual.
• Enjoys problem solving and has a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities will include:
• Implementing friendly customer service, product quality and health & safety standards.
• Making fantastic coffee for customers, on point every time.
• Managing and prioritising the workload of the team effectively in a positive work environment.
• Ensuring smooth day to day processes and operations.
